Happy Birthday, Liz!

Happy Birthday to the BFF!
I wish I had a sleep net. zzz..zz..z..

Status: Cloud 9

Friday started with a midnight movie, Harry Potter of course. Amazing short within the movie, the tale of the 3 brothers. I woke up & picked up my Yar! It is incredible, Gramps even gave me his stamp of approval. I drove from O'hare airport, around the city, did some shopping at Trader Joe's, then picked up my brother to go see Norm Macdonald & Kevin Farley...both were so funny we cried laughing. Anyhow, that's over 200 miles on a 1/2 tank of gas. <3

What the cr*p did I see this year?

I know, I know, what a frigg*ng lady like title. -'Best of posts'- have always tended to be my favorite reads. Beez it on a bathroom stall wall,  a magazine, book, other blogs, trains, planes, automobiles, you name it. You may ask yourself, "Hey, why don't I make a 'Best Of' weekly?" You really fact, start right now. What a great idea! Hold the phone, I'll start week. Woot! To be quite frank + polite (which normally don't go hand in hand), trying to regularly update me blog has been a struggle. It's harder than a physical exercise routine. Themes will help keep things fresh, so maybe coming up with a few sometime may help me get better at this whole blog thing. Or maybe I should just jump the shark and go 3D Vlog. $60 goes a long way nowadays...if only there was a Max Headrom interface for Mac. SOLD. Wow, I am really beginning to type like Jeff Goldblum speaks. Back to biz, list making stat. Here goes... *drumroll*

The Fat Lady Doth Sings...

Another end of another week. It's a dreary and rainy day. I wish I could hibernate, but there's still so much work to be done.
Wednesday, Mom & I got snazzied up & took Bachan to a 3 hr. Shakespearean Opera downtown, A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was spellbinding, comedic and far different from than anticipated. The theme is heavy- "The course of true love never did run smooth", but it was delivered in a light-hearted performance busting at the seams with so much talent. Go before it's over if you can!
As of yesterday, Grandpa's home from the hospital and back in good health. He was hit by a car a few weeks ago, and has quickly recovered. He is strong like bull. In the meantime, I found my new car.
It's fuel efficient, shaped like a sneaker, rhymes with caris, it's named after a common phrase of a pirate...
Yar! I mean yes! I'm pretty excited about it if you couldn't tell.
Oh and I know it's a little late, but here goes my halloween costume of 2010... I'm planning to go as the sequel next year with a few costume modifications of course.
Have a wunderbar weekend! -M.G.

Well, Shoot!

After visiting an impressive Native American/Western Museum in Indianapolis, we moseyed down to Don's Guns shooting range... it was madness!
I will never ever own a gun (unless it's manufactured by Nerf).

Top O' The Mornin' To Yas!

And a Happy November to all!
The Shining'Tis Wednesday, although it feels like Monday! I woke up early to score Ricky & I some tickets to see Norm Macdonald in Hammond *drumroll* $125 per seat! Yikes! Sure he's great, but that's insanely steep. Thank you for reading my deep thoughts. Har har. Coffee, work, class, gym here I come. -G
